@fagerbag it should be fine then i do the same thing and mine lasted a good 4 years before i had to replace it and the one i am using is on its second years and still holds a good amount of charge
please reply ASAP. if i bought a new laptop, but i never used the battery, like i dont put in the battery and just use the wire, and use the battery barely, will i still have to replace after a year?

u should have mentioned not to buy 3rd party batteries
u should have mentioned that a new battery will cost 100-200 depending on the cells
u should have mentioned that batteries can and WILL last up to 5 years.
at the 5 years mark it will probably not be able to hold any charge.

This guys a genius, i never thought of looking on google or putting the battery in the bottom.
You never use a battery out of the box, you risk getting a memory. It also matters where you get the battery some manufactures use a type of lithium batterys that can catch on fire and/or explode. And lastly I don’t think anyone can’t put a battery in a computer but that’s just my opinion.

my laptop battery lasted me almost 4 years and it still runs like its new.

yeah, macbook batteries also last 7 hours on a single charge, i know, my next laptop is going to be a macbook pro ;]

my new macbook pros battery lasts up to 5 years, dont believe me get a mac and youll never see that blue screen again and you wont have to change ur battery so soon iether and you wont have to wait 1 minute 4 it to turn on these are just minor reasons why PC users should switch to mac.

i doubt your information is true because you have no proof to show for it, but both the betteries on my 2 laptops didnt last more than 2 years. 1-2 years is standard, ask anyone over at any tech store and they’ll tell you that.
