my battery is just 1% charged and it is not charging.When i press that button the fifth LED is lighting but it is not blinking so is it in good health and i have to get a new adaptor?
Dell is a peice of crap. I got my laptop a year ago. Exactly one year after I bought it I get a message telling me that I need to buy a new battery. While, a week before, my battery worked fine (lasting up to three hours on full charge) after I got the message the battery suddenly only started lasting for 10 minutes on a full charge. It’s complete BS as Dell obviously has software which programs the battery to cease working after a year so you have to spend money to buy a new one. .
so i push the button on the battery no lights comes on, means the battery hasnt been charged? so when i put the battery on the laptop the 1,3,5 lights comes on?
my battery is forever flashing 4 lights when i press it…what does that mean?

I’ve got two Dell laptops and neither has LEDs on the battery. Got any info people like me and some others here can use ’cause what you’re saying here should be in the manual for whichever computer(s) have this feature and if people who own them can’t figure it out…
if the power LED is orange it means its nearly out of battery

My dell inspiron 630 m battery hardly lasts for 30 mins without power but still when I hold the LED button it doesn’t show any lights coming (which is kinda bizarre).

From what I’m reading this is a typical issue with Dells. The battery and the charger are perfectly fine. The laptop simply refuses to pass a charging voltage onto the battery.

On my Dell Laptop on the keyboard to the right there is a line of items that blink sometimes, (Battery, on, sleep etc), Well the one option with the battery with a lighting bolt in it is blinking blue and then orange 2 times, tell me what is wrong please?
