@ALwALeeDss100 Thanks.
@xrsneirx lol yeah, you might want to get a new battery for the laptop now and just keep it out of the laptop when you don’t need it.
I commenced sh!tting bricks when I removed the battery, and my laptop was still on. I’ve had the battery in for two years straight…
@CiKO91708 =D!
Liked , Subsribed.
@JMason814 The new MacBook Pros uses a different mechanize for charging it’s battery, So you don’t have to worry about that too much. Just don’t leave the mac plugged in 24/7. It’s not good for it.
is a Macbook Pro battery like the one you used to demonstrate? Because on the Macbook Pro, you’re supposed to send it to Apple if the battery fries/dies/etc. You can’t just pull/push a button to get to the battery.

@TeslaDRay No problem, I’m glad they’re of some help to you =). and click on the 01 next to the youtube and you’ll see what they’re talking about. I have no idea what youtube is doing, they change stuff so much.
oh btw, thanks for all your vids. i haven’t watched them all but the way you explain things is very clear and in layman terms. oh and what is up with this “2 days” countdown at the top of the youtube page? something ELSE they’re going to make impossible? lol.
• Calibrate your battery’s fuel gauge by doing a full discharge every 30 cycles. Run the battery to the cut-off point in your notebook to keep the battery’s fuel gauge accurate.
• If you will be on AC power for an extended period of time, you can prolong your battery’s lifespan by removing it and putting it into prolonged storage.
• Prolonged storage should be done with a 40% charge-level and in a cool, dry place.
• Heat is your battery’s worst enemy. Avoid keeping your battery in hot places such as your car during the daytime.
• A full discharge puts more strain on your battery than several partial discharges. You do not need to worry about battery memory with Li-Ion batteries. Get into the habit of recharging the battery when it reaches 10-20%.
• Never discharge your battery to 0% – as this can render your battery useless.
awesome, i could have used you in 05′ when my desktop crashed lol, after 5 years of use. near the end it sounded like a tick tick tick when at startup, like a time bomb, and would then give me blue screen, but by some miracle, it stopped doing it long enough for me to burn all my songs and leftover data. the day AFTER i burnt my last cd, it crashed for good. strange, hehe. i went 4 years offline and it was peaceful, yet at same time i needed to get back on so i did back in 09′ lol.
@TeslaDRay Yeah I’m a certified technician.
@DavinDaGeek
yeah damn, you’re like a trained tech or something right?
@TeslaDRay and thank you very much, I’ve seen many people have this problem when i worked at bestbuy. So I just made this video to see if I can help the community out.
@TeslaDRay Yeah you should try calibrating your battery a few times, I’d say 2 or 3 times. Just let your battery drain out on your bios window, it’s good to do this so windows won’t kick in and shut the computer down before the battery is completely drained.and it’s really a bad idea to charge the battery up to 100%, a few things can go wrong when you do that, one the gauge can stop working or read right, 2d battery cells will start to die faster over time, then you’ll have lil charge if any.
Replying here davin, oh my god! you totally described me! i think i caught it just in time. damn i never even knew this! i was told that once im on ac power while charging, once it is at 100 percent, that it stops charging so its safe. i must have misunderstood him. you may have saved my laptop davin. you’re the man.
@DavinDaGeek it looks like a book cover to me lol
@dylbyl1234 It’s called a DuRag.
