Are Computers for Kids?
live.pirillo.com – Eric emailed to ask me what age I feel is good for a child to have their first computer, or access to one. He feels that it depends on the child in particular, and their level of responsibility. Personally, I feel there’s much more to it than that.

@NinjaDuck1337 No one said that I don’t have a life away from computers. As a matter of fact, I’m rarely on it anyway. It’s never a good idea to assume things like that.

I had been using the family computer (Win3.1) ever since I was 1, until I got my own when I was 4. I’m 14 now.
I used a computer(family computer) when I was in 4th grade I think at 8 years old. I am now 15 about to 16 and have my own laptop.

i used a pc when i was 4. i even used the internet but i only played ultimate flash sonic. it was windows 2000. i had my first own pc when i was 6. now im 9

I had my first computer when I was 11-12, now I’m 15 and still using the laptop. Works great, if you know how to take care of them

I have been exposed to technology since I was a baby. My dad had a camera and a computer that I was very interested in at a young age, and had my first computer at the age of 5.

@YayJoshDavis yeah, i just got my first computer when i was 10, btw, im 14, and i know som much about them now, my dream career, is something that involves computers, which pretty much narrows it down to everything, but im learning so much about them. i made a computer for the first time last month, and my dad was so impressed, he bought me an X-box 360, which i asked him for.. lol.
@itsonlydesign I hate all these stupid people in the world that think computers make people dum, i have used a computer since i was 5 and it has made my life. I am only 18 and run a successful radio site. While most of my friends are regretting taking a PE gcse, and are working in Mcdonalds.
i was on the internet at age 5-7 with parents watching me, and from 8-14 (now) i’ve doing it with no parental thing wat so ever
