I toom my acer Extensa apart to fix the speakers. There is a wire coming from the screen. It has a gold tip. Can someone please tell me where it goes! Thank you.

Acer laptops are junk. I wouldn’t waste my money on one. Go buy a Dell or something. I got an Acer Aspire 4520 laptop about 2 years ago for a graduation gift. It gave trouble within the first year. I had a Compaq for 6 years before it gave any trouble and I’m using a Dell right now. Acers are just a poor quality, “Get me by,” cheap brand computer.

Help! My Acer Aspire 1410 crashed and Windows 7 won’t launch. It says I have to reinstall everything, but there is no cd drive. Do you have any suggestions and is the there any way to save the data? Any help would be awesome. The Acer tech people were no help at all.
@giuliojiang oh ok, but if u want to save time u can do it that way, i have a Mac so i cant dissasemble it or the warrenty will go, so i use a Air Duster!!
