Thanks to you, my old laptop is working now. Very logical way of explaining. Great work.
I have an acer aspire one with nothing but a flashing screen.
I got a Meso Netbook, it was working fine for a few hours but then it turned itself off saying connection lost. I’ve been trying to get it to the start screen, but it just stays on a black screen saying ‘operating sytem not found’ and nothing else..how do I fix it? :<
You need studio lighting.
Good learning video though..
Hopefully you can help me. You seem very educated in this kind of thing. I was on my laptop about two and a half hours ago. I was searching the web for the old microsoft sam voice that XP computers had. I found a website that contained sound files. I clicked one and it led me to a rather pornographic file. I backed out and proceeded to clean my computer. Then, my laptop makes a click noise and goes blank. It wont respond at all now. I tried what you said and nothing helped. Plese help me!
wht if my battry dont charge but laptop do open when connecting ac does that mean my chager is bad ???
very informative-thank you!
very informative – thank you!
thanks
sometimes you can’t make a connection…you can’t push the red probe far enough inside the connector plug. (there’s all different sizes of connector plugs), some are quite small).
So take a paperclip and stick it down inside there and then touch the probe to the end of the paperclip.

@patricknedz your laptop developed a gpu fault, the chipset got miss-placed due to overheating, it needs reballing service & key replacement & hinges replacement
I guess its a £150 repair job. I know the right people for that if you want contact them
my laptop wont do anything but power on the fan and the power light, the screen is completely blank when i turn it on, I also need to replace the G key and the key hinges since it broke too,
i recommend you subscribe to laptoprepairvideos they have detailed videos step by step how to remove a dc socket and replace it along with information where to buy the best sockets. the site belongs to a friend of mine Steve
Hey i have an advent laptop and yes i think the DC socket is week because it wobbles about like yours but i cant find your other video showing us how to fix it and also could you possible give me a link to a website were i could buy a DC socket for my laptop ? thx alot this video was very helpfull
This video has helped me a bunch! My laptop would turn on for a second, then power off. I used a volt meter to test the charger which came up as a reading of 0. I received a new charger a few minutes ago and so far so good! The light that shows that it is charging is lit up!
@stickmandudeman if you mean the screen is very dark and you can still see some video in there then it could be the inverter that’s gone, it’s a common problem and happens a lot. the inverter controls the lamp inside the screen and is pretty cheap
thank you soo much i got the screen to turn on, took out the battery and used the charger to turn it on. thanks
Thx man
By the way i can’t finde part2 of taking part hp dv6000
plz give th link
have a hp 6700 series, the dc socket lights up when plugged in but battery does not charge, and apart from this if plug out the the cable one point is still lit up in dc socket, where can be the problem and repairable or replaceable?
@stickmandudeman upload a video lem me see it
hey I vhave a dell 5150 laptop. I can hardly see the screen (its very faint). I think the screen is “dead” do I need to replace the screen or is there something else I could do?
@dragonwars2 lose socket u said it, yeah u can take out the hard drive from the bottom and plug it to a enclosure
so this is my problem. Basically, my dad left his laptop alone for about 5 mins. The computer’s battery was fully charged and what not, but when he came back, nothing was working. there is NO indication that the computer has ANY power. He has an extremely loose socket, but that cannot be the issue. The battery was charged to the max not 10 mins before I am writing this comment. No lights, whatsoever, appear. Is there some way to retrieve his harddrive info and whatnot? it’s his work computer….
