@1986bahai Nope!

@irulethe70s and if i can find a SATA slot load blu-ray burner that too that works and thats all i can do with it
plan on getting a HDD 8GB RAM maybe even more for my aluminum macbook pro 17” unibody early ’09
you can pt pc2-6400 800 mhz mem in this laptop it will defualt to 667mhz you can also upgrade the cpu to a duo core 2 2.6 800 fsb if the chipset is intel 965 which i am sure it is.
As far as I know it can use both. I have 667 MHz, but I might want to get 800 MHz eventually.
I have this computer
Check on Crucial or something like that to see what your computer can use.
I’m upgrading RAM soon, I do not know if I’ll have 667 MHz or 800 MHz
I believe so. I’m planning on buying 4gig 800mhz Kingston Hyper-X or whatever it’s called to totally max out my laptop’s speed. Also, maybe a bigger/faster hard drive.
According to Crucial Memory, it can use both speeds.
Question,.. this type of laptop uses 667mhz memory,.. can I put in 800mhz of RAM? Thanks in advance.
I think it was $100 but i’m not sure.
sweet, im sold. my pavillion doesnt last long at all with a 6 cell. how much did a 12 cell cost you?
Windows Vista 32bit as of service pack 1 does SHOW that you have 4 gigs installed. SHOW is the key word there. It can’t USE all 4 gigs. I have had both 32bit and 64bit installed on THE SAME laptop and used THE SAME third-party program to see how much was being used, and 64bit is the only one that can use all 4. Look anywhere else online and you will see that I do know very well what I’m talking about.
no u don’t windows vista 32bit is suppose to show all 4gb shakatu1 doesn’t know wat the hell he is talkin about
Both. You need 64bit to use all 4 by the system
i have installed 4gb of ram on my windows vista 32bit but the OS only detects 3gb of ram, is it normal or does my 1gb extra is unused?
yes
does it make any difference from your old ram to your new ram as far as performance is concern?
12 cell battery is good but it’s hella heavy to carry around and the battery is good condition for a year and after that the hp recommends you to replace it.
i would say around 4, but as a practice, i never fully discharge my battery in order to increase it’s life, so it could be longer. This does seem to be a good length, about the standard for the larger batteries.
hey i noticed that you have a 12 cell battery and i am planning to buy one. about how many hours do YOU get on average. is it any good
It all depends. 48 isn’t actually that high (50-60 is average), and other factors will influence this, such as how much you’re using the processor, video card, hard drive, and even the memory. Also, ventilation is important. Any laptop will get toasty if airflow is restricted, such as blocking the fan or having too much dust inside.
great just, some more litghing.
btw, If upgrade the RAM memory will it help the laptop not to reach such high temperatures???
I have 1GB and it reaches max 48°
You have finished the video, and you said: damn, its too dark… but, i’m gonna upload it anyway…
