I prefer the Asus Republic of Gamers G50vt . It brings a dual core at 2.26 ghz (overclockable to 2.54 ghz with Direct Console 2.0) . 4 gigs of ram, 320 HD, and a 9800m GS with 512 mb of dedicated memory. All for around $850.
anyone know if it can handle unreal tournament 3? at all?

this laptop has everything i want in one. 4gb,320gb hdd, dual core chip, hdmi. its just perfect. i would just like to know where the speakers are located on it. i hope they aren’t on the bottom.

I uninstalled all the Asus Utilities, then went into Windows Power Options, Advanced Settings, then set the HDD Turn Off/Sleep Mode times to 5 minutes, lowered screen brightness to 10% without battery, and lowered the Max CPU state to 50%. I pull about 7 hours 30 minutes on any given school day (and this battery has been recharged almost everyday for about three months now, and is still going strong!)
