CHECK OUT THE ARTICLE VERSION! – computersight.com Here’s a tutorial that allows you to speed up your computer, especially for netbooks, using a simple USB Flash using the process first introduced in Windows Vista called Readyboost. This will use up your USB Flash and use the memory in it as RAM Cache so when you are in lack of Physical RAM, it will use this to speed up your computer. Not only it speeds up your computer, but it also extends your battery life as well. Watch the video to find out how! Here’s a useful tip. Make sure you use a 4 GB USB for this to work properly. I just need something to make my crappy 1GB of RAM faster untill i get a new PC which will be in about 5 months or something
I will be using 1GB RAM do you think It’s enough to boost XP?
@Pigot98 No….nothing happened to mine….
I heard it screws up your USB flash drive after a while
Is this true?
And oh yeah, i found a way to do it on XP, there are some programms do THOSE ones screw up your USB flash?

@flaco9711 Yes, you can even try it on PC’s as well. But no, it’s only available on WIndows Vista and WIndows 7
does this just work for laptops and notebooks? and it is only for windows 7 and vista not for xp?
@thedrkness1925 I’m not so sure about that. I’ve noticed when i log-in, it loads a bit faster than before but not during boot
@TechzoneTV does this help with start up process?? does it boot up faster also?
@flaco9711 it will, but 12 GB is not really necessary, just use about 4 GB, it’s enough for me
@thedrkness1925 yeah, just keep the usb flash plugged in
u think a 12gb flash drive will work?
so as long as the USB flash drive in plugged in, it will help with performance? this is a really goood video, i had no idea. thank you. and keep up the good work and keep the great videos coming!!!
