and as for what’s cool at the cafe, who cares? if they laugh, then think about the extra money they spent for no reason other than a unibody and an apple with a bite mark :P
it won’t light up the asus logo, but that saves battery :P

The Apple logo is lit by the same lighting the display uses for it’s backlight. It isn’t separate, so it’s not wasting any more power than if it wasn’t there, they just made a cut out for the light to shine through.

Makes sense.
I don’t want to get into a mac vs pc war, but I guess I did :P
As far as I care, Macs are machines that are well built, look very nice, and and operating system that is simple, sleek and functional. Even if you have to pay quite the price premium to get a hold of one.
If you spent the same money on a pc, you would get practically the same thing, just better hardware inside, just not the looks. In the end, it’s all about what you want.
