I have a question….Why are BOTH the speakers placed? on the RIGHT side???? I mean it kinda makes no sense. it really annoys me hearing it from the right side entirely… I would love and Answer soon…I plan to buy this in the next 3 days thanks in advance to any ANYONE who answers ^_^

i dropped my asus laptop ul80vt from shoulder height like a dumb***. cracked body plastic but it still works fine. And any laptop that fell like should have not worked. laptop still working fine for 3 years (though asus? keyboard quality is terrible… already it’s breaking apart from heavy use.)

Yea it comes with your notebook but? you should register within 60 days of purchasing your notebook. My N53 came with it.

So you didn’t register your notebook for the ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) 1? year warranty?
Bought this, loved it, dropped it. I need a new screen which is fine and I expected? to pay around £200 but Asus want to charge a mind blowing £357.94 for it!! Considering the laptop cost me £619.99 I find this absolutely disgusting. I have scoured the web to try and source a new screen myself even phoning Asus in the US and everywhere I go I get told I can’t buy one. My advice to anyone thinking of buying an Asus product is DON’T! After care is utter crap and I will never buy from them again!

its a nice machine, takes me along my task (spreadsheet,text, presentation, image-editing, database and mobile dev) easily
for gaming: pes2012,fallout new vegas, and black ops all ran smoothly.
only have 2 things against it, the speaker is HORRIBLLE!! sound oly came out from? the right side. and the battery..its great that it can handle 6hrs of work (got the 8 cell battery) but the shaof it is fugly, have look for a slimmer batt with no avail WTF asus?

can someone explain to be why european versions of lightweight or ultra thin lap tops are so far behind sometimes even half the specs of the US and Asian markets? getting really frustrated trying to find a lightweight with decent video capabilities? and hard disk.. most I can find is 320gb-500gb.. .and 4gb of ram….

It is quite a good laptop I should say.? ASUS did a good job on this one, especially for battery life. Once it was fully charged, there was one time where it said 10h 59min remaining (99%).. It can roughly last between 6 to 10 hours depending on what your computer is doing.
