It should be compatible with the HP Pavilion? DV4, since I have seen similar batteries compatible with DV4, DV5, and DV6 batteries.

mine had the overheat problem.. what it turned out to be was the fan had a lot of crap in it. Geek squad cleaned it out, works better than new.. and it’s cool now even after leaving it on for? a couple of hours! I would practically get burned before. It’s like $30 to get it cleaned out.

No this PC doesn’t have the overheat problem! The dv9700 from my sister’s old laptop which was 2 years old had that problem, and it fried the nVIDIA graphics chip. She got a new Apple laptop, since she believes that there is anti-virus? and better value in terms of reliability.
