thanks 72! it’s not beepy but a bit noisy due to 15 or more fans running to cool all that stuff. well in our days computing isn’t that efficient. hopefully forthcoming generations will need less equipment to achieve more, more!!
and you are right, there is a bright spotlight with a pro red filter on it… right behind the camera! you can see the reflection of the beam on the imac…

will be upgrading soon to the powerbook i think and wasn’t sure what to do with the old imac with only 9GB mem…how the hell do you run nintendo on that thing?
btw i totally dig your set up. my "office" is a crammed little corner in the kitchen, but it comes with a nice view. should set up my stuff so my living room feels more like a screening room/lounge space. that’s for the inspiration.
