REVIEW: Samsung Series 9 Laptop [Part 2]
www.laptopthoughts.com This is part two of a two-part review video of the Samsung Series 9 laptop (900X3A-A02CA). This is a thin and light laptop that goes head to head with the Macbook Air, though it costs a pretty penny doing so. Where to buy is.gd (this is a lesser configuration) It features an Intel Core i5 2537M CPU at 1.4 Ghz (3 MB cache), 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and an Intel GMA HD GPU. The 13.3 inch screen is matte and 1366 x 768 in resolution. There are two 3 watt speakers and SRS 3D sound. The webcam is 1.3 megapixels, and there’s a single microphone under the screen. In addition to 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0, there’s a dongle that, when attached to the side, adds Gigabit Ethernet. Video output is solely mini HDMI (no adaptor is included in the box), and in addition to microphone/headphone jack, there one USB 3.0 port and one USB 2.0 port (one is an always-on charging port). Samsung made the interesting – and wrong in my opinion – decision to go with a microSD card slot rather than a full-sized SD card slot. The laptop has an internal, non-removable 6 cell (40 wHR) battery. The laptop is 2.88 pounds (1.31 kg) and measures 12.9″ wide, 8.9″ deep, and between 0.62″ and 0.64″ thick from front to back. Please give the video a thumbs up, subscribe to our channel, and post a channel.

great review!?
currently using a sony vaio VPCEB26FX. 15.5″ intel core i5, 4gb ram, etc
I have to take it to school everyday, so portability could be a bit better. I also find a screen a little too big. I’ve had it for a few months now but for a future laptop or a 2nd laptop, I need advice. Macbook Pro/Air vs Samsung Series 9 vs HP Envy 14 Beats (I am a? teenager so beats audio, design really matters) thanks to anyone who can help me out!
very good review, just ordered mine a open box version? i5/4gb ram/128g, 980 including shipping i think this might just be the best purchase i’ve made all year
I didn’t see any WiFi issues in my three weeks with the product.

I’ll go for Samsung. Reason being Asus always has a flimsy charge connecter which snaps of like the? Asus 1215N : + Samsung looks better and its more reliable xD! Yes samsung fanboy ftw :L
I was wondering if you knew about the bad wifi? reviews that amazon has. Thanks!!
Asus UX31 was the only hesitation for me! but if i’m buying it.. i’ll get it for the next generation of intel processors comming out Q1-2 2012. and i just cant wait. i need this the most? right now because of crazy school work. i think it was a good deal. btw, i went through like all the videos for unboxing and reviewing this product. i like yours the best BY FAR! keep it up!
I think I’m jealous because I haven’t ordered mine yet.
I’m actually waiting for the Asus UX31 to come out? and will decide then which one I want.

I don’t have any plans to review? the Samsung Galaxy Tab. I’m sure you can find lots of reviews of this online.

Hey ToughtsMedia, Ive been lokking AT A LOT of your videos lately . I really want to be your friend on youtube beacause i do the same kinda thing do unboxings and reviews. Look at my latest? video on the Belkin Ipod touch Pluh in chager. . I have sent a request to you. Can you do a review on The Samsung Galacxy Tablet if you have it or if your planning on buying o buy it because it is very fast and has great apps or you could get the Ipad 2 also a great tablet.
Nah, not for a while at least. If I had a test device with a touchscreen, I might, but I don’t. Although maybe that Samsung? Q1 Ultra sitting in the corner might work. Hrm. I’ll look into it.

Hey Jason, Windows 8 dev is out. By any chance, are you going to? test it?
I’d guess that, yes, it would be able to run Windows 8…but I can’t say for? certain.

Your review was so good. Made great points and made me come to a decision. Thank you. It was between this and a Air. I will get this as my school laptop and the new Series 7 coming out in Oct for my home laptop. I hope you review that. Series 7 in Oct! Do you think it will be able to run? Windows 8 in the feature?
thank you!!I’lll be waiting!!..hohoho..I’m quite curious because this machine is popular and has good reviews in my country, Indonesia. By the way, how come you? never review notebooks from ASUS? I think it will be interesting because their notebooks are promoted as notebooks with the most minimum malfunction in the world. Their design is quite old fashion though :-p
Yeah, um, I’ll try to work on? that for Monday now that I’ve published the Samsung Series 9 review.

Mr. Jason!!
Where’s the review of? HP Pavilion DM1Z???!!!
Good review, for me I don’t like having a screen that small, I? prefer the 14 inch ones.
Please check out the unboxing video – I? show it there. It’s quite small.
