Not that I recommend doing it twice, but if you get a new drive 6 months after a new HD… I guess they didn’t do too much to change the insides of the 12" PB from the 12" iBook.

Put in 100GB. Its one of the scarriest things ive done. Lots of screws to keep track of. I found some good instructions online and was able to do it in about an hour.

You should always make a back-up of your computer before doing any of them.

One way is to copy and paste the following Terminal line into Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES; killall Dock

Then press enter.

Another way is to install the pref pane ‘Secrets’, and under the Top Secrets category, choose Dock Appearance.
