Samsung has updated their notebook lines with the new intel Core Ivy Bridge CPUs. If? you plan on buying one, get the new updated models.

hope i won’t? need that extra 8 any time soon, but windows has a habit of growing and consuming more and more ram. i like linux mint, b/c it is familiar enough to windows but 100x prettier (shallow i know). sort of like the best of both PC and Mac. i’m not using mint on this computer yet b/c I tried the live CD and the touchpad was a mess (didn’t interpret the left and right clicks from the unified touchpad). samsung is apparently not too linux-friendly?
yes, i agree about one of the ram slots being somewhere almost inaccessible unless you are some computer genius, but i dont really see much point in having 16 gb or ram, 8? should already be plenty for most people. and also, why did you get linux? just wondering
samsung? notebooks are quite expensive also
thanks. “if you can access the other? side of your mobo” sounds ominous though b/c it doesn’t look super easy to disassemble. can’t get touchpad to work in linux… starting to regret this a little.
they come with 6/8? gb ram but you can upgrade it to 12, 16 if you can access the other side of your motherboard
Compare Nigahiga and yourself, compare chester see with yourself and the YTF group they all use macs, and? if they are for rich-ass kids who want to be famous, than it worked

It’s? automatic, if one application it’s intensive but only uses one core, the turboboost sets in.

hey lisa, i recently bought this laptop and i read on your full review that the laptop can tuboboost up to 3.1 ghz, but i don’t know how? to activate it, or does it do that automatically? any response would be great and i want to know how to do this for gaming. thanks
