i replaced the screen on? a gateway nv73 and the laptop turns on but still the screen dont work, do you think it could be the lcd inverter board?

im currently using this laptop and i want to upgrade like everything thats in it i use it mainly for djing and downloading and want more out of it instead on buying a mac lol any tips pointers or suggestions? on what i should get to get myself started

its most likely the wire that connects the screen to the board. It has happened to many of my customers. That wire will cost you around 80 bucks. But that is what really? needs to be replaced.

My dell Inspiron 1525 has problems. the screen is fine but it cant hold it self up and the hinges to the screen are like all messed up. anything i could do? or if i had to take it somewhere how much would? it cost?
