[http://www.flickr.com/photos/cycloctopus] Not to mention that if you're shooting around smoke and tear gas, you don't want to have to change lenses because the pollutants will make their way to your sensor.

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/ghalog] Awesome setup. I especially love the gas mask and the Ray Bans!

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/cycloctopus] It's a 44mm NATO gas mask filter, it allows to the wearer to breathe when chemical agents like smoke, tear gas or pepper balls is deployed. The purpose of two cameras is to have a complete viewing range from 17mm to 300mm, also the 2nd purpose of two cameras is simple, I don't have to fumble around and change lenses. When your at an event and you go to open your bag and grab the lens and take off the old one and put the new lens on that shot is most likely long gone.
