After two hour purchaise computer crash and have bluescreen. VAiO Thailand responce this is software problem and not Sony resposiblity(I guess I need to call to Bill Gates?) Every since, this Vaio computer have crash and have had two major hardware malfunctions. After six month purchaise, this computer have been totall one month out of order. If you like to buy a computer for business, think twice,” before considering Sony Vaio S series?

after 1. new installing bios released to answer the problem of loud fan 2. setting the processor usage in vaio care i have no problem with browsing net/youtube. i use heaphones because speakers are tiny an reproduce the worst sound i’ve ever heard from laptop. dont even think to? listen music on it without separate speakers or headphones
is it really loud even when you do basic internet browsing? and youtube surfing? I’m planning on getting the vaio se series soon in the summer and wanted to know if this is true.
i’ve own one and its great but…the fan is very loud so better check if? its not to loud for you. you can set in vaio care different parameter for processor efficiency (it’s separate from win7 plans) but I dont know how much it’s slowing pc. i use it rather for wtriting in MS Word so for me it is ok. Fan on default is really sick loud so on meetings at work some folks almost looked at my laptop thinking it’s gonna explode or smth like that

lol I found it by accident a few? days after I got it when I was being obsessive about cleaning it. the assist button also works in a similar way, but it brings you to a system recovery thingy instead. just another reason i love my Sony!

This laptop is the best laptop I have ever used. One feature not many people know is that pressing the “web” button? while it’s off will turn it on and immidately (5 or so seconds) bring you to a simple web browser.
