Dell XPS 15 L502X Review by The Digital Digest
I just received the Dell XPS 15 L502X and wanted to give some initial impressions of this Sandy Bridge based multimedia notebook battery. This configuration has an Intel Core i7 2630QM (Sandy Bridge) CPU, 6GB DDR3 ram, 640GB 7200rpm HDD, Nvidia 525M w/1gb of ram and Optimus, Intel 1030 N w/ Bluetooth 3.0, 8X tray loading dual layer DVD burner and a full HD (1080p) 15.6 FHD B+RGLED display. HDMI, Display Port, SPDIF, HD webcam, back-lit keyboard, and USB 3.0 are all on board, making this 6+ pound laptop battery a true desktop replacement both in and out of the house. Battery life with the standard 6 cell battery averaged 4 hours, which for a Core i7 CPU based notebook battery is unheard of. Had it for a year. Have to replace the motherboard due to the 2gb 540m graphics card having a? terrible design… otherwise a fantastic computer… just dont buy it if you are a gamer…
I HAVE A PROBLEM ive had this laptop for about a month now? and the screen has a crack in it. I have a warranty but I still want to know how much I will have to pay to get it replaced.

One 3.0 on the Left, 1 2.0 near the power cable port, and one on the right that is combined with an eSATA port. It is hard to spot, but? it is a USB.
You can use an air jet (The? ones in the canisters.) Works great

I wish the back-lit keyboard was a bit better. just illuminate the letter/character, don’t let the light bleed around the base of each key … it just looks cheap.

This is sooo sad to watch! 10 months ago I got mine XPS L502X, and after about 1 month I spilled water? on it and ruins the whole fucking thing!!!!!!

It is? an automatic setting done by optimus by NVIDIA, when you need battery life optimus switched from dedicated NVIDIA card to integrated INTEL graphics.
I got caught with that when i got my? XPS, but on the right of your laptop, you would see a port located to the back, the esata port, it is actually a combo port which meas it works both esata and USB, plz reply and say if you fond it.
