Notebook Upgrade Guide with Corsair SSD Upgrade Kit and Vengeance Memory
Today I’m upgrading my Alienware laptop with Corsair’s 240GB Force 3 Notebook Upgrade Kit and 8GB of Vengeance DDR3 SO-DIMM 1866 MHz Memory. This video is part guide and part review, and is focussed towards viewers that maybe aren’t sure about what to do. It may not be very interesting to my current subscriber base but I want TastyPC to help as wide an audience as possible. This is the first video I’ve done of this nature so I know there’s lots of room to improve. I forgot to mention that adding a SSD to your notebook/laptop also increases your battery life and you don’t have to worry about losing data if you drop it. I know it’s an Alienware, and therefore likely to break or disintegrate at any moment, but I didn’t want to make this video an anti-Alienware rant. Please try not to comment/rate based on the Alienware laptop, it’s really not the focus of the video. Thanks Prices: (rough at time of upload) Corsair Force 3 Notebook SSD Upgrade Kit : 240GB Kit = £170 120GB Kit = £90 Vengeance Memory: 1866MHz = £70 1600MHz = £40 Please subscribe: www.youtube.com Facebook page: www.facebook.com Thanks for watching.

Yeah, I kind of got ahead of myself, I was only a few minutes into it when I commented, my bad. By the way, great videos I found one of your videos about an hour ago and? as of right now i’m hooked. Keep up the great work.
I know,? I talked about it a little in the video.
Don’t forget that when the memory down-clocks itself to meet 1333mhz from the stock 1866, your timings also get lower so you end up with memory that has extremely? low latency.
?????? ????
Don’t use the WEI anymore, not even for? comparison, it will just give bad reputation to you.
Informative? Check.
Entertaining? Check.
Effing hot? Check.
Why havn’t anyone done this before? Win.?
i wonder, how many marriage proposals do you? receive?
of what?? It’s pointless benching the SSD in a SATA II laptop. I did a basic benchmark on the memory in the video.
please do BENCH MARKINGS

Great video?
AMAZING? …… “GIRL”
My God, ur? beautiful!
I learnt something today. c:? Thank you for the good information.
Very pertinent review. I think lots of people buy new machines thinking a new processor will alleviate? what is really a storage bottleneck, but who are intimidated by installing new hardware. Good stuff
all those fans. . . must? want!
This hadn’t occurred to me, I can see how? it would extend battery life. Good video, thanks again
I wont ask why! But? ill keep my eye out, thank you!
