Durable Laptop Batteries
LGR – Zenith Z-171 Vintage Computer System Overview
Zenith may not have been the biggest name in computers in the 80′s, but the Z-171 is a pretty awesome machine. One of the first portable battery-powered PCs, as well as one of the first to utilize a backlit LCD display! Music from Incomptech (Airport Lounge by Kevin Macleod)

It’s a time machine you went back to 1985? and didn’t even know it
We had a conversation on a? video of a guy playing Wolfenstein 3d on a 486DX4
OMG, how? do you know?
You know my sister or something or you just happened to be a relative?
Maybe you could send me what you know via PM message:)
BTW: Seems like you also do hardware collecting judging from the videos you had posted:)
I remember you,? the guy whose sister bought you a vintage PC?
But will? it show porn?
that’s not a laptop computer it’s? a donkey top computer.
“birk!” that made me? lol
Don’t you see the genius?
This computer had widescreen? before wide screen was even invented!
I have an MT-32 I can? ship to you, if you want it. I have the Roland D-10 keyboard synthesizer which I bought to replace it. PM if you’re interested in it.
I’m genuinely surprised,? this is a good video, and the guy’s funny too.
Only 14 pounds,? man thats so light!
It won because the case is? beige grey. “Black PC cases?” they would say back then, “Ha!”
A similar machine was my first PC after? my c64.. 286 12mhz, 20mb mfm drive and pretty much the same backlit cga lcd display. If something is displayed in the fourth cga colour, you can’t see it at all. It does green, blue and a mushy mix… so I remember in order to play Indiana Jones 3, I had to print the screens, because the text was displayed in the colour the display couldn’t do. Unfortunately that machine didn’t survive my “blow up capacitors with high voltage” phase.. so sad.
LOL!!!!!!!?
What, am I the only one!!!! You are pronouncing Zenith wrong!!! Why do you think the Z is soo big on the graphic. Watch an old? commercial!!! Anyway, great video!!!
Nope, I? do not have an MT-32 at this point.
Say LGR, Do you have a Roland MT-32?
And if you do, could you do a video on it?
I finally got mine today which I payed only a total of $44 on Ebay for as it was untested, luckily it works as I used my Model 1 Genesis plug to power it on and soon in 5 days or less, I’ll be getting a MIDI to Joystick? connector for it and my Am5x86. Soon I’ll make a video on it:)
That’s what the government wants? you to think!
I like these, old computer, video, things? on the YouTube thing. ;-D
Is that a cat in the background?? 8:17 top? left
