i always fully charge it use the battery until it reaches 20% and then i recharge it.i never use it plugged.now iam at 543 cycles (i use it at work and at home) and iam at 75%.but i think its time to replace it as its 2 years old.?

A couple things. You can get these batteries online. I actually saw them from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. They are expensive but probably cheaper than what Apple will screw you for it.
Andy ou can use a really small straight screwdriver to remove the screws holding in the battery. Just be sure that before replacing your Mac’s battery… you’re 100% sure it’s not your power adapter that’s faulty and not charging your battery. If you don’t see the green or red? light on, adapter=the culprit.

WHY? Why buy a laptop you can’t even replace the battery? WTF!!! So Apple’s battery lasts forever it never wears out and never needs replacing. Has Apple develop an ever lasting battery that nobody has?? You might as well buy a desktop. Fuck this just makes me want to stay away from ever buying Apple.

Not always true. There is a bug in a lot of Macbooks, where when you replace? the original adapter with a new one, the computer almost refuses to sense it. The only way to reset your comp is to remove the battery and hold down the power button. So that involves pulling out that little cord he showed then putting it back in before you can see any lights as well.
