Forceps

After discovering that the battery in a pack of long expired SX-70 film was dead, I used a pair of forceps to remove a good battery from an newer, empty film pack. Using the old battery as a guide for the new battery, I was able to use the expired film after all. Well, attempt to use … unfortunately, all of the chemical pods in the film were toast and the sheets were stuck together into a instant photo brick.

Using 600 in your sx70, do you then use filters over your 600 film packs to adjust them?
Actually, I’ve never used neutral density filters with the 600 film. I usually crank the exposure control on the camera all the way down and then carefully control the lighting of the scene. Often, for studio or interior shots, the shutter speed will be very slow, so I can augment the illumination with a handheld flash.
