BTW we bought g570 in april end 2012 and June 2012 end the hinges were broken and monitor is not functioning.? Service centers are good, but I would prefer complete replacement of the system instead of changing part by part.
Have? you heard of laptop breaking. According to the service guy, for the similar model of laptop this month, he has changed 50 machines with SAME problem. He was well aware of the problem when we just called him.. Hats off Lenova for such a great model.. Guys beware before even trying to buy a model like this. We asked for a replacement and you know, that would never happen. All we can help the community is by saying, please don’t go for Lenova!!!

to be honest, these things do not depend on what model your computer is, rather on what the specifications of your computers are (the speed of your processor, the memory of your graphics card and the amount of RAM). i have an i5 processor, 1GB nvidia GPU and 3GB of RAM.? with a setup like this, everything works – fast. although i don’t play games much. just race driver: grid, but that works flawless.

Hi. I don’t have any issues or problems with my G470.. It works great! I just want to find out if I can Upgrade it to the latest Processor.. I’m using a G470 B800 1.5 Ghz .. Celeron Processor and I’m thingking to upgrade it. If so, where can I upgrade it and what shoul I do? I? know that this is not the right place but the Email Support of Lenovo really pisses me off…

If comes with 0.3 megapixels camera and normal sound. So if you want to have more fun 2.0 megapixel camera and SRS premium sound then go for Z series.
