One more thought – it occurred? to me one might try to squeeze out the hard drive without actually removing the battery – if you can pull it off, more power to you!

Good question. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure the graphics processors in these models are soldered to the motherboard, so? there is no upgrade option for video.

I can confirm there’s no need to remove the battery for access to the HDD. I’m a little puzzled as to why you thought it necessary in the first place as the battery in no way impedes access to? the HDD.

You’re referring to the 13 inch model of course – I don’t think so, I think the battery is of a slightly different? design – see this video: youtube.com/watch?v=O9z0pFhRTeQ – I think shape and size is the same, but the connector is in a different place. But I’m not 100% sure on that, so hopefully someone else who knows for sure will comment.
