i have a question what is that white wire that is close to the inverter on the outer side of the hinges that runs up the side of the screen. because mine just snapped. and i dont know what it is.. and? i know a wire snapping shouldnt be good at all. because they all have a purpose. please answer. thanks

I’m pretty sure thats the coaxial cable which runs up to the Wi-Fi antenna.? You should solder the core with a piece of single core wire, then insulate, then join the outer shielding as well as you can, then insulate that, and it should be alright. Sorry to hear about your troubles =(

@2FUNNYMIKE –me too!!! how did you finally get those? tiny screws in?? i heard about a magnetic phillips screw driver…i might go buy one cuz i can’t the screws to sit in the frame hole long enough to screw them in. they fall right out grrr

Is it possible to buy an LCD for this exact computer but with the resolution of 1080P? the original screen can do 720P. ? Is that even possible or the computer would not be able to handle that higher resolution? Thanks.
