I guess I just got unlucky with mine. Bad gpu, had to change for a new one, keeps freezing randomly, overheats and has bad gaming performance, plus its a huge and heavy notebook. Get a 17 inch model if you’re planning on getting one and? you probably won’t have any problems at all, it is way better.

The screen hinge on the G53 looks looks diesel compared to the G73…. Smart move as the 53 is more “on-the-go” size anyway. ?

I think you? can’t, because it has another chipset :S (Your g53 has Intel HM55 and the 2nd generation intel processors are compatible with the Intel HM65 or HM67 chipsets only)

i got the G53JW? with an i7 740qm. My brother has got an hp with 2630qm. can i swap processor? I mean can i take the 2630qm and put it in my G53JW and put my i7 740 in his hp?
