Easily installed and removed, the bottom portion covers the battery door, but it’s no problem to unclip the 5 hooks that keep it on and replace when done.

Actually, Alex, it runs cooler. There are little rubber feet on the bottom of the cover that lift the case slightly and there are ventilation holes that allow airflow. My smartdisk temp used to be a constant 107 degrees… now it’s at 104, with several apps running at the same time.
I wouldn’t even know how to turn that on.
