If you did charge the phone and also tried updating with no? success on fixing the problem then I’d suggest to contact your local Sony Mobile office for a possible evaluation of the unit. -Josh

i have got the problem like that… my phone turns on but after showing the home screen it says battery low and turn off… i have tried charging and updated the mobile but no result…is it? problem with the battery or software?? please reply..
Also playing games on this phone is something like this *take phone from charging* start game playing *notice battery lvl is lowering by seconds* (have program that shows procentage) 30 min. later,phone is dead! (and if it lasts for 30 min,is a good thing) and YES i have everything set as shown in vid. as if i didn’t,i wouldn’t be able to make a phone call lasting more than 10 min… S.E. hate to say this? as you used to be my fav brand,but you suck,and i am changing brands,as soon as possible!!!

If its always? been this way, you may have a defective battery. If you are not a heavy user it should last a day if not more. I’d suggest you try to update your phone to see if that helps or try to contact your local Sony Mobile service center for a possible evaluation option. -Josh

It doesn’t harm your phone nor battery but connecting it to the computer. On the other hand, every? time that you connect the phone to the PC it will charge your phone. -Josh

Yes. You can use use the same suggestions for the X8. They all have similar operating? systems.

Charging via USB is slower than when charging it using a wall charger. And if? you are using many features together while USB charging it might take several hours. -Josh

I have a neo and I don’t use a anti-virus app, I don’t really have the need for one. The battery life is optimized as best as possible, which is why the battery numbers are shown this way.? And if your phone last 3-4 days that is really good. -Josh
do you use anti virus,and which one?in 3G standby time is 360 hours in 2G Standby time is 285 hours.does that mean that the battery lasts longer in the 3G version?a 3G talk time is 3 hours and 30 min,and 2G talk time is 4 hours?my bettery lasts 3days sometimes 4 days,but the brightness screen is off all? the time,and its on 2G,and minimum use WI-FI.i send 60 sms at the one day,and 2 minits of talk,and turned off mobil over a night(and he take me 2% of battery over a night,when mobile is off?
id expect a mini to have a long battery life.. guess? not.
… Now after following all the instructions in this video the battery still only lasts 10 hours and that’s without making any calls, using the internet etc, if I do that I’m lucky to get 5 or 6 hours and the response time is really slow when typing? a message/looking through contact lists. I’m not sure what to do as I’m stuck with this for another 10 months and it’s out of warranty. I can’t even swap the battery out for another one!
This is possibly the worst phone I have? ever owned. When I first got it it took two days for the marketplace to work, when I followed the instructions on the update word for word it deleted all my contacts (The same happened on friends phones also), when you put the phone down from your ear after a call it does not recognise you have done this and the screen stays black so you can’t cancel the call…
