The Motorola ATRIX 4G (AT&T) packs in a dual-core 1GHz processor from NVIDIA to give this smartphone almost computer-like capabilities. The Atrix 4G runs a full Mozilla Firefox 3.6 browser, not one of those stripped-down browsers we normally find on phones, and it can even be docked into a laptop-like chassis with a full QWERTY keyboard and 11.6-inch display used just like a laptop. The Motorola Laptop Dock has an incredibly thin design with an 11.6-inch screen, full keyboard, stereo speakers, and it’s own battery that delivers up to eight hours of battery life. You simply dock your ATRIX 4G into the back of the Laptop Dock and you’re up and going. The laptop dock is 2.4 pounds, which puts it in the range of a MacBook Air or small netbook—not bad for traveling. There is also a dedicated multimedia dock available with three USB ports and an HDMI port, so you can hook up a keyboard, mouse, speakers and monitor for working at your desk/office. Macs are not any better than a PC. In fact if u were to purchase a pc and a mac and you spent the same amount of money for each you would have a much better PC. The only advantage to mac is the ability to run OS X but then again so can my windows pc

Dude, try first, then be a wise guy! Of course laptops are faster, but this become fast enough to do everyday computer jobs, even more… Surfing, playing games, listening to the music, watching HDs…What more do you need? It is a gadget of it’s own, now finally becoming fluid and fast enough to actually be useful… Try putting laptop in your pocket and do a mail check or quick internet info? in a city bus
The Atrix and laptop dock was developed? as a travel device, it was never intended to be a desktop replacement.
not good enough. I want a desktop or desktop, I get a proper one that can actually get work done, it can never be powerful? enough for replace that (unless this is out 5 years ago). The best it can be is a netbook + media centre + GPS for leisure. Not a bad attempt, can get few% followers, but futile effort against almighty iphone.

no they arent? apple computers are the best computers today with the best security. you might as well not even try to get into one when it is fairly simple to get into a windows computer. Apple laptops have the best security so check up on your info. before you say whats best and worst.

why would you ever buy this? this is another pretty bad attempt to beat apple, get a macbook air just as thin and small but way more powerful. plus you don’t have to carry? a phone to make it work.

no, only 2 times. one for each core. lol phone could still be used without the crappy notebook (keyboard + lcd) filled with underpowered crap, but the notebook is useless without the phone. stealing it would be a good option. no need for the notebook dock.? overpriced POS motorola.
