Depends a lot of what you mean by “shortcut file interface”. AmigaOS is more like NextStep/OSX or Unix with CDE. But at the same time it’s very unique? and very feature rich PC OS. AmigaOS is a preemptive multitasking OS packaged with WIMP (window, icon, menu, pointing device) stylish “Workbench” GUI. If you want you can buy and run AOS4 in any PPC compatible PC. Latest version came out in April 2010.
