I have a DV7-2270us which has developed either a short or an open somewhere inside, and when it gets hot or bumped slightly, it either bluescreens,? shuts down, or won’t restart for a while. Now that I’ve got an idea of how to take it apart, I’m going to attempt to find the problem. Thanks again for this excellent tutorial. Without it, I wouldn’t have known where to begin.
