I have a one-off version, the CQ60 – the lcd got stepped on (everything else still works – connected it to an external lcd to be sure) and so I ordered a replacement which doesn’t? give any image; not even the backlight illuminates. Either I got a bad part OR the only difference in part number is that the OEM ends is a LTN156AT01-H01 and the replacement is a LTN156AT01-S03, but otherwise appear physically identical – know if that small difference in suffix might be an issue?

the screen? should be compatible. I would try the old screen again, and if it works then the new screen is defective.

ok so for? my old screen i have the main connnector but then…. there is like another little connector with nuthing going to it…. i bought a new screen but the backlight doesnt turn on…. like i can barely see whats on the screen but there is no backlight…. and this one doesnt even have the little connector basically the new screen looks like the one on the video my broken one has to connecotors…..

I have a cq40, the screen use to flash, I see several stripes, what could be the problem? The flex? the screen or video processor??
