Great comparison! Thanks – probably I will choose the 7200rpm HDD even though? it’s more expensive!

it’s simple
if you are using the? HDD for the operating system..go with 7200rpm 750gb or SSD.
if you are using the HDD for saving your files..go with 5400rpm 1tb
that was awesome thank you so much!?
well the price difference in ssd? is quite LARGE! for equal space.
If you already have an 5400rpm harddrive, and you are going to upgrade this year. I would rather recommend upgrading to an SSD, because an SSD is noticeably better than an HDD. The difference between an 5400 and 7200rpm is so small, I wouldn’t even call it an upgrade.
If you don’t have any HDD at the moment (probably incase you are looking for a laptop at this moment) you should aim to get a 7200rpm, but I would rather be picky about the processor than be picky? about the “few seconds”.
get ur #1 option, so much better. bigger screen faster cpu more ram, that hdd difference isnt much.? new egg is the only site i use to buy computer parts and ive built 3 computers and upgraded others with their parts, never had a single problem
the real question is what are you gonna use it for? gaming is kinda poop with intel 3000 graphics, you’d probably be better off getting an A8-4500 amd processor? since its an APU and APU is far better for games. Now if you just want it to run applications and stuff, then those are fine I guess.
Dzi?ki za? test, potrzebowalem w?a?nie tego. Pozdrowienia z Polski – Greetingz from Poland
they both cost about $600 on newegg…which one should i get…im starting college in a couple weeks so its going to be used primarily for school
also has anyone used asus before or bought from newegg?
specs are below
1. ASUS A53 Series A53E-NS51 Notebook Intel Core i5 2450M(2.50GHz) 15.6″ 6GB Memory 750GB HDD? 5400rpm DVD±R/RW Intel HD Graphics
2. ASUS P43E-XH51 Notebook Intel Core i5 2430M(2.40GHz) 14″ 4GB Memory DDR3 1333 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD±R/RW Intel HD Graphics 3000
Can this run? bf3
7200 rpm battery consumption is fast. id choose 1tb with 5400 rpm rather than 7200 because i can restore more? files in 1tb
I think your only option is SSD, and its not gonna? be cheap. You might need to rethink your plan, or bust out the credit card.
yes?
So glad I bought? a 750gb HDD at 7200 RPM and not a 1tb HDD at 5400 RPM.
Can somebody please answer me.So Im going to get a? hard drive and if you guys know any 500+GB hard drive with 7200 rpm and with no battery life losing tell me right now.Pleaseeeee
39 apps would crash and? burn my computer
Doesn’t look like there is that much of a speed difference in comparison as I thought. think I’ll just stay snug with me 5400? RPM drive ^_^
Thank you! You save my $200?
This is a wonderful video. Thank you, mariofrancis7; I can tell this will be a good indicator? of which HDD to buy for people to judge with for a long time.
lol yes? hybrids have faster speeds than a 7200 RPM drive
Do not get a Dv6? or Dv7 laptop. I have one and it is completely terrible. Terrible airflow, parts of the screen hinge have fallen off (1 and a half years old) Overheats if I try to play a game for more than 10 minutes. Do yourself a favor and don’t get it. Try a different company’s laptop at that price.
hey? thats my laptop…
great vid getting a dv6t-7000 with 750gb hybrid do you know if its a good hdd?
I think my hdd runs at fucking 1 rpm it’s slow as shit. I have an? i5 that takes 4 minutes for me to actually start Google chrome when it boots to the windows screen. And the hdd isn’t even half full (2 tb)
