I found the 2nd hand turbo timer on? TradeMe which is New Zealand’s “ebay”. Heaps of bargains on there for the financially strained Kiwis out there. :)

This puzzles me though…
Put batteries in a box, seal box as per regs so that gas doesn’t vent into the boot… Then install fans to pull the? gas from the box into the boot ?? Eh ? Do I misunderstand ?
Or are you going to put some ducting to take the vented gas to the outside of the car ?

Those straps are permanent, right ?
They’d have to be cut and replaced to remove a? battery, or is there some way of releasing them and re-fastening ?

I would like to replace the shocks in the car.? There’s not enough battery weight in the back (115 kg) to install new springs but new shocks would make it feel less like a boat. :)

The straps on the batteries can be removed by undoing the clasps. I wouldn’t re-use the straps as it’s cheap and fast to to replace them with new ones.
I installed the longest length of cable last night too. Fits well so far!
