Another solution is getting the “Boom” App for mac, you can increase the volume by far, I believe? doubled the volume, cheap too, and the quality stays

sorry, but theses speakers are crap! lousy sound quality and way too expensive! i use the? Logitech Z205. its a great product. very handy, loud enough for your living room and superb sound quality(trust me, or better, test them. you will be impressed). it uses a usb port for powersupply and data transfer, plus:you can clamp it on your screen, so you are realy mobile with this solution. and on top: it costs as half as the razor tins.
