If no longer under warranty, then google “L702X service manual” and you will get a direct link to the Dell website that contains a complete guide on taking the laptop apart. There is even a direct link to the subwoofer and speaker sections on that page. Just set aside plenty of time to do this,? read instructions carefully and don’t rush the steps in the instructions.

I? custom ordered my wife’s, building from bare essentials, adding options here and there, and didn’t realize the backlit keyboard wasn’t a standard feature until after we got the laptop delivered.
