1. The VAIO can’t drive, so it won’t brake fast.
2. I haven’t seen a rive, nor a hard rive.
3. I don’t know? what the fan likes, but if its a jazz fan, it won’t make a lot on noise, because he likes jazz, not noise.

1. No, its a solid, heavy notebook. But i think its like the most notebooks: if you handle it with care, it won’t break.
2. The harddrive is normal. If you want to have a really good harddrive, you have to buy an SSD.

Do not buy SONY VAIO Computers. My new computer broke down after two hour usage and in its 6 month life span it has been 2 month out of order. (my computer is still in Sony Service and they have refused to refund my money) I? do not have my computer, nor I have my money) They basically have stole 1400US$ from me and there is nothing i can do. All these problem have occur in Sony? Thailand

throw it in the trash. input jack breaks all the? time. blue ray never worked. cd rom did not work. crashed. all vaio’s are over priced pieces of junk

It overheats a lot?

Id be using this for general school/business stuff, but MAINLY for editing HD and higher quality video. So, I need lots of RAM and high graphics and a big Hard Drive.
Its coming out to $1,300 which isnt that bad…? compared to the other ones Ive seen.

its not good for it. it over heats really bad. mines is at Sony being repaired. I burned my hand very bad. it? has no where for hot air to travel. that main fan sucks. you can melt a plastic cup into a puddle if it were next to it. I burned left hand and arm from this thing. dont buy it

i have the 540 one. this laptop is a piece of junk. The F series is on the recall list. dont buy one. buying this laptop is like buying a Mazda RX7. it will constantly break on you because it over? heats. Stay away from Sony. if you want one so bad. buy mine. its under Sony warrenty and it over heats. i burned my hand really bad from it. 8 GB of Ram, 540 Nvidea Cuda, 1 GBV of Ram, 16.4inch display, 3D only to a 3D monitor or 3D Television, back lit keyboard and 750 GB Harddrive. plays games great

not on the? version hes talking bout, this one has 310M, but you can get one with NVIDIA GE FORCE 540M

if you want a good gaming laptop, get one with i5 or higher, and at least 4Gb of ram, but i recommend 6gb. and any thing in class 1 or mid? to high class 2 graphics card. and u can check out the tiers of graphics cards and compare them on notebookchecknet. and go into FAQs and look at their graphics benchmarks, itll show you which games you can play.

yes. i am doing research. when you look at laptops u gotta look at not only the processor and ram, you gotta look at the graphics card. this one comes 310M graphics, but on the sony website you can customize it to have either NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M (512MB) or NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M(1GB) and the latter is 50$ more, but either of these are good and can run it. WOW.. easily will run, skyrim, you can get good framerates on medium or high graphics.. a lot of laptops come with intel? hd 3000 graphics

hahaha, I think this guy’s? preview clearly shows that some other companies have filled his pocket..This laptop is awsome, beautiful and it has an aesthetic value.. more it has a real HDdisplay and good enough graphic card..high end processor
