Excellent, cheers!
The notebook set is about £8 cheaper than the desktop one and you only get a sata cable and a bracket and I’ve got enough of those things already.
Helpful? again, excellent stuff, old bean!
Yes, the USB adapter will work with any SATA device that is capable of being powered from a single USB port? — so it will work fine with all SSDs and most 2.5″ hard drives. It really is a very handy extra to get in the box!
I didn’t know John Lennon was into Computers. Very nice Video thought. Lets? Give SSD’s a chance…
Excellent? video!
I’m looking at getting this exact drive and was wondering, the USB to power/sata thingy will allow you to use any drive externally?
Cheers!
It sounds mad but if you put them in the dishwasher for a few days screwdrivers? will pick up a magnetic charge from the electromagnetics.
Excellent video. Just? decided to buy a 725 to replace my full-size laptop.
Nice to hear
always waiting for your content?
It is just so straight forward and enjoyable to watch
Thanks for this. I’ve been busy on a book, but am about to start work on several new videos. The first here will probably be? a build of a gaming PC, as AMD are kindly sending me a motherboard and CPU. So this will probably go up here early October.
yeah but my 8gb was already in my house from a dead laptop so i was like? might as well
I agree — the SSD upgrade is worth it for the longer battery life alone. Plus the machine is much more? responsive, and more robust. All first generation netbooks had an SSD, and it is a shame that this is now not even offered as an option.
The SSD is a good upgrade. The 8GB is overkill as in my netbook but hey? the price was right for the memory. Also longer running on battery.
awesome just right now i installed 8gb of corsair and a ssd boots in 30secs or less?
Kensington? Memory
8Gb was on sale for around $40 so I couldn’t pass it up.
Same specs as the original 2Gb memory
Runs fine and shows up.
Overkill I know.
what memory did? you choose for 8gb?
Thank you for the great video. I have an Acer 725 as well and upgraded the memory to 8GB? because it was on sale ($45). Now changing the HD for a 240Gb SSD Sandisk Extreme.
Hello There Christopher!,
I was just wondering if you had considered doing a video on the Raspberry PI,
This is a computer that I am interested in learning more about, because of the low price tag,? but high possibilities for usage.
oh, and BTW, another very enjoyable video
where is the next video…. they are good!? more please.
Great job!
?
Early congrats on? 6k subs!
Great video, just purchased an Aspire One 725 after my original Netbook did a spectacular fail on me. Couldn’t face taking it apart so? bought a new machine. Very clear and real and extremely helpful. Thank you
Any chance you play video games. If you have played – which did you and if you are now playing which genres and titles. Also do you spend accessive hours on gaming or you don’t find it? fun but rather instead time consuming? idk what’s with the stupid questions but my brain was on a roll so I decided to give them all
I just picked up an Aspire One today. I plan on upgrading it in the same manner. Thanks.?
Gr8 video? thank you
In a? world — “yes”! The R710 is a bigger machine and the exact means of accessing the hard disk will therefore be different. But you can switch the disk for an SSD and clone the current contents of your hard disk in exactly the same way.
HI, can you please tell me how to? put the timer on the video?
