i have this notebook for 3 month, it is a? good and strong machine, but the problem that its really really noisy, im thinking about changing to ssd now, but upgrade here seems not that easy
what is the best Wireless Driver for this i5 Vostro 3450? I bought this laptop about 2 weeks ago but the store manager did not tell me that? it has no Wireless Driver installed. he just like “this is a good stuff, can auto connect to available Wireless Connection, blah blah blah b*tch please” .. yes, he’s sucks for a manager.
More precisely, i5 has hyper-threading, 2 cores with 4 threads. For most applications though? (except high-demanding computational programs) it’s like 4 core running.
I spent several days looking for my workstation and I must agree with you. My must-have preference was? perfect keyboard w. backlit, more than one USB3.0 and AMD APU if possible – was hard to find something (considered Sony Vaio SE2 too, but as I tried keyboards of HP, Sony, Samsung, Asus, Acer and of course Lenovo; Vostro is simply the best, even better than desktop one, hard to believe). My system is 15″ Vostro 3555 with AMD E2-3000M (will be A8-3530MX soon) , 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD Corsair M4.

Thank for your comments tundra. I considered the HP Envy, looks like a good looking laptop, but the price was close to double to mine, and the it was just not reasonable for me. In my opinion, if? looks are the most important thing for the buyer, the Mac Book Air, has no real competition so far, but again, this is just considering looks. Cheers.
? Considering everything you have said about this laptop, I don’t think anyone can argue that it’s a great deal. Your getting alot for $600.I can’t speak for the rest of us, but looks is very important to me. I think these days, people are willing to pay the big bucks for a good -unique looking laptop,especially younger kids(trends). My HP Envy is amazing, but I have to admit the looks drew me to it the most. After saying that, this dell looks great as well.
I dont know correctly what is yours i5 (probably Intel Core i5-2415/0M)? model, but probably you mistaking about quad core. You have 2 cores… because there is not big different between your i3 and i5 maybe 20% more faster… I also wanna ask how about hdd. do I need remove keyboard and etc. to change it or it’s enough just back panel?

No… the screen quality is great, its one of the few out there that its completely glare free.? It’s also HD and again, there is no reflections whatsoever.

Does it comes with the amd? radeon 630m ? I am thinking of buying it but the battery is down side, the vostro 3350 have a 8cell battery why cant the 3450 have one too ?
The i5 is? quad core, the i3 isn’t. The i5 has Turbo Boost, an the i3 doesn’t. If price is not an issue, i5 is the clear choice.

i am confused btw i3 2350M / i5 2450M which one do i select ( bz both has 2 cores / 4 threads) both offers Hyper-Threading.
and i3 does not support the Turbo Boost which i think its not an issuie in an i3 core .

sambking,? you are right. Technically its not a “full size” keyboard. It’s missing “only” they keypad. But it does have: pgdn, pgup, insert, delete and other keys that all Mac laptops and modern pcs are eliminating for some obscure reason. Thanks for watching.

Full sized keyboard? Where are the number keys that should be on the? right side of the keyboard?
Well power “may” be a relative term I guess. For me, memory is an important characteristic to define “power” in computing devices. RAM memory in CPU’s and GPU’s, for example,? speed up processing significantly, therefore I consider them to be more “powerful”.
