Largely it’s the principle of the matter, Linux being free and controllable by the user, and Windows? not being those things. For me, the main disadvantage of Linux is its incompatibility with big title games, but you can’t play them on this laptop anyway. For everything else, you may find if you use it for any significant period, that Linux is sufficient or even better in some cases. But again, it is largely the principle of the matter. Hope that helps to explain the view of the Linux user!

Looks pretty slim and elegant for the price- being a Linux user, I’d like? to know how it performs on this laptop, as you said you would likely be installing it. What is it like?

Yes, it actually boot from USB. U have to enter in the BIOS setup an choose your USB drive, but it has to be connected before? you turn it on.
Cons: Really really low and crappy sound on this thing. keyboard is not great and i also have problems? with (clean fingers). Ethernet port is hard to operate (unplug).
Pros: Battery life is amazing, it is light and bright, not too slow.
Bought it for $330 at Best Buy

Mine work fine. But, since you already have the laptop, go head and check everything else that might interest you. This will help you decide if you want the exchange it for the same model or? get something else when you return it.

Minecraft ran fine with minimal lag.? I say minimal because there is slight lag. But nothing making it in-operable.
I haven’t tested Minecraft,? and I don’t play Roblox. However. I’ll go ahead and test Minecraft. But this PC is not gaming oriented. And the processor speed is something that may be a drawback. But I’ll test for your sake. I’ll get back to you ASAP.
Hey just curious what type of games you play on this? Was thinking of getting it for my son. ? He play Minecraft, Roblox, etc. Nothing too fancy or with advanced graphics.
