I have played Minecraft on this and it runs fairly well. One thing to note it that while playing Minecraft for an extended period of time I find that the laptop can get quite hot to touch on the bottom and as a result the fan will speed up? and can become fairly loud, it may be better to use earphones while playing Minecraft to prevent this noise becoming distracting.

Nope, The? fans have made this sound since I got it brand new. Note that it is normally quiet and only gets audible when under load such as watching HD video for an extended period of time, rendering a video or playing a game.

I personally find it okay for general use (web browsing, light programming .etc) but I only ever use it when I’m out since at home I use 2x 22″ monitors at 1920×1200. If you need to have a lot of applications open at once or deal with large documents then? the 15″ or retina versions may be a better choice but for basic office work the screen is the perfect size.
