Statistically, Asus has one of the best (if not the best) reliability score among notebook brands. I had problems with Toshiba (and I like toshiba), I know several people who had problems with Vaio (sometimes? regarded as premium brand) and several who complained about HP. I can hardly remember anyone complaining about Asus.
not it can not upgrade to 9 cell, the 9 cell battery stick out to the back about 1 inch, it cause laptop lit to hit the battery in the back, therefore, you won’t be? able to open the screen.
