Even for a? similar mx-type logitech mouse, your awesomeness worked! Thanks for posting this video!!!
3 months ago, I successfully replaced my dead battery that lasted me? about 5 years. I have noticed that after the first full charge, the mouse requires me to re-charge it more and more often. My mouse used to last me about week per charge and now its much more frequent at around every 3 days.
Thanks for your helpfull video. With your help it was an easy job for me. The battery had to be delivered from China, so I had to wait about 25 days. But it? was well worth it.
I replaced this mouse but was yet to disconnect it from my system. It had fallen off the desk to many times and it quit tracking. The battery seemed good and the buttons still worked. I happened upon your video while looking for reviews on a replacement mouse. For fun i took mine apart with you. Turns out the ribbon wire had slightly disconnected. Back to working like new. Thank You. Had? this mouse since its initial release, worn down like yours or worse.
appreciate the vid. Just pulled this bad boy out, had it for years and its never failed me. But i needed to be sure I was opening it up correctly so i could get it cleaned up and such.?
amp hours is an estimate of the theoretical total charge capacity. in an ideal world a 10 amp hour battery would supply 1 amp for ten hours at the rated voltage. A 20 amp hour would supply 1 amp for 20 hours. A milliamp is 1/1000 of an Amp.
A 2000mAh battery will go longer between charges than a 1600 mAh? battery.
nice one, new life for? the old girl, the weight and size of this mx1000 is spot on
Do you know of any way to get a replacement wheel for this mouse? The rubber cover on? my wheel is starting to get deformed to the point that it doesn’t turn very well.
Really appreciate your guide. You convinced me to search for this battery rather than buy a new mice for the? double the cost.
Thanks for the guide! Just replaced two batteries without? any problems.
Thank you for this very well done tutorial. My original battery is actually still working great? but I needed to know how to open up the mouse to clean it and possibly replace the micro switch for the left clicker. At least now I know how to open it up. Thx again
Great video, thanks for the close? up of showing the 2000 milliamp 3.7 volt label on the back of the battery. I’m wondering, does the mouse draw that many amps? I ask because I’ve seen sites with directions for doing the same thing but listing a Klic-5001 battery for Kodak Li-Ion 3.7V 1600mAh battery. If the mouse draws tries to draw 2000 but the battery only supplies 1600 will that mean the mouse is underpowered? Or does the mouse draw less than the rating on the battery?
Good to? know.. thanks
I found my? battery on Amazon. Just saying
I’m actually using that mouse right? now and it’s the same battery I replaced in the video above two years ago. So that particular one I bought on eBay is continuing to work after two years and I suspect it will continue as I’ve had no problems.
am i the only one who has a m/UAE89 mouse? the damn thing only has one screw and i dont? see anything else but it still wont come apart
Thanks for the video. Super? easy to follow. and now I have new life in my old mouse.
nice vid, thanks? man, it helped me clean out the ton of dust out of the wheel, and now its better than ever
Glad? the video could help
Seriously tanks !
?
I also? agree…I have 3
most probably you dont get connection between the mouse and charger. It happened to me the other day. Just clean the 2 gold connectors on the mouse bottom flat surface, and clean the space on the charger where your mouse goes while charging. Make sure there is no dust, and clean the connectors well. You should? be good then and notice proper charging immediately after the procecdure.
I’ve had this mouse for 4 years constant everyday use? and it still works perfect, never a problem, however I will be upgrading just because to a g700, I hope that is great too.
Awesome vid. Logitech should not be encouraging waste in favour of profit. Short sighted and stupid, your solution is the perfect fix, thank? you.
Bravo!?
