Chiclets and brushed aluminum existed in other pc’s before macbooks, trust me. This computer is amazing, it even boasts a nvidia gpu, a 1080p screen,? great speakers, did that come from Apple? Ha, just because everyone buys a macbook nowadays doesn’t mean it was derived from it.

I’m a Macbook Air user. I agree that the design of the asus zenbook is more aesthetically attractive. However, if you weigh that against the user experience of Apple notebooks (trackpad, OS, overall ecosystem) and the customer service that Apple provides, I still prefer the Macbook Air. That said, Apple should recognize that the competition is gaining on them at a pace that should make them sweat. The decision between the Zenbook and the Air is far from a no-brainer. ?
