Toshiba Satillite L-455 Laptop computer disassembly, repair and reassembly
In this video I’m repairing the AC power port on a Toshiba Satillite L-455 laptop. I remove the harddrive, ram, dvd drive, keyboard and of course the battery so that I can crack the laptop open to gain access to the ac port. Hey my computer ( the same one as yours) has a problem. So when I tries to turn it on all the lights turn on and the fan starts working and all but then it shuts down but the one light is on( the power light) can you help me dude I’ll send you a video If you want to see the? problem? My Toshiba L455 had malware and quit working. It has power but the screen is blank, black.
It won’t boot up and it won’t recover with a recovry disk.
Should I try changing the? ram. Where would I get one for cheap

Thanks for your time,and about the hdd, im just putting the same one, now, this is what happend after that, i did replace the dc jack,put? everything back in the way it was before,it turns on but theres no image on screen.
Q: Can the loose dc jack may have burned the motherboard?
Are you replacing the hard drive? If so then you will need to install a OS. If you are putting the same hard drive back? in then you don’t have to do anything as long as it was working correctly.

I tried heating up some Elmers glue but it didn’t work. Actually that’s a very good idea but I don’t have a glue gun, if I run into? that again I will go to the dollar store and pick up a cheapy.
