www.laptopreviews.com ? We just got the Lenovo Y580 gaming laptop in and after unboxing have done a tour and quick overview of this new laptop with Nvidia GTX660 graphics. The IdeaPad Y580 is a 15.6″ screen gaming style laptop, it can be configured with up to a 1920 x 1080 screen. Intel’s new Core i7 Ivy Bridge processor is used to power the brains of this bad boy. The nicest thing about the Y580 might be the price though, you can get all these performance features and a nice design for around 0 in the US It’s possibly the best bang for the buck gaming laptop on the market. Wow I just bought the Y580 and it hasn’t come? yet, and they released the Y500. That’s really uncalled for.

Base on what you can see on the specs and other information on the product. Is it worth the extra 100 to get the y500 with that ultra bay or it is better to get the y580.? Do you think the 2 machines will be similar?
I bought this as my portable gaming rig, and I love it. I have a bit of extra money lying around and I’m looking? to upgrade my lcd panel to a 1080p version; is this possible? I have been getting mixed responses.

Can you replace the Harddrive in it with a SSD or a higher RPM harddrive. I have a 2.5inch? 10,000 500GB drive I would rather use then the 1TB 5,200 RPM in the model I am looking at getting.

Ja dat had ik ook willen doen maar ja vanwege geldzaken kon ik dit pas van de week doen, en is ie dus niet meer verkrijgbaar. Ik denk dat ik nu voor deze ga Asus N56 Series? N56VZ-S4035V-NL.
Ik heb hem uiteindelijk kunnen bestellen bij otto.nl maar ik kijk nu en hij is ineens niet meer leverbaar.. Zaterdagavond besteld en het duurt +-1? week ben nog aan het wachten.

Lenovo Y580 has the best value in my opinion, if you can get it for? around $800 that I’ve been seeing.

you? dont want to use the nvidia card for a primary, your batt. life will suffer. If you are running anything which is more demanding than normal, such as gaming or video editing, the computer will use the nvidia card automatically.
