Kenny Powers!!!?
I am a guitarist. Bought this as a cheap way to get some synth sounds. What a great little instrument. Has some noise, but it’s not horrid. Sounds incredible running through my pedal chain into a tube? amp. I’d love to get a Microkorg, Minimoog, or Minibrute, but this will get me a synth pallet to work with on a budget.
its a stockier and less? Brooklyn-y John Leguizamo
This is meant to be a portable and fun way to create analog synthesizer sounds on a budget. If you are serious about getting? analog synthesizer sounds you may want to look at Korg’s Microkorg and others like it on the UniqueSquared website.
Hmmm..I? noticed that you could get some really good “Dong Dong” basses with it a la “And One” buuut..wtf??!!..no midi..no USB..no Nothing???!! What use is it good for..i don’t understand what you are going to do with it..except tweaking and messing around. How do you externally control this thing??? Like if i wanted to hook it upp with the rest of my midi-gear??
Resampling is always a good idea – esp when you get some analog into? the mix!
‘ what the heck is all that?’
I’m sure it’d take someone less than 5 minutes to figure what each one does.. considering they bought it? in the first place they’ll have some idea of how it works..
Can I use one of these Monotrons as an FX to work my MPC. samples? Like, I want to use the Monotron’s filter to tweak a sample, and re-inject the sample in the? MPC? What do you think – feasible, good idea? Please respond, thanks.
the monotron has been known to lead to harder stuff. It’s? a gateway synth! BEWARE!
get a KORG ps60, not the absolute beginner synth, but you might as well buy a good one, since? its gonna be the one you’re gonna play for the next 5 years
damn this? guy even makes the monotron seem awesome
the original monotron? is the best one
the monotron is cool!?
Great review! Thumbs up and? subbed
Another Review (Spanish though, but with nice tests) /watch?v=Qq2grfiSofc
What you did? at the end there sounds a lot like the intro for Flock Of Seagulls’ “Telecommunication.” Nice vid.
Will this work with ableton? ?
Don’t start with a softsynth like someone here said. it won’t be much fun. What you need is a good VA with a lot? of hands-on action. A good new synth to start with is a Roland Gaia. Lots of knobs and sliders to play with and an adequate synth engine. You can get one for about 500 bucks.
interesting demo. thanx 4 the? upload.
Either get software such as Massive and Absynth, or maybe get? a KORG micro synth.
i have? one ..there amazing!
what is the best synth for a begginer just learning??
this guy reminds me a guy playin a monotron,? could this be possible?!
I have no idea about that stuff, but I think got it?
useless?
you assholes ruined my? portable synth
