Please send me a message or check out www.FastVideoTech.com If you plan on working on your laptop, please take notes and take your time. This video makes things look very easy. Some connectors will fall apart easier than they will disconnect and can take several minutes to slowly work apart. It is VERY easy to break small components that are expensive to replace. Depending on your individual skill level you may have more of a chance of breaking something than fixing something so if your laptop is important to you, please let an experienced technician handle it. I have over 10 years experience working with computers. I will try my best to answer questions but please keep them related to the video and the work being done. Thank you for watching! Love? the music. Who is it and what is the name of the song? Thanks for this video. It helped me a lot cleaning my fan.
The CPU substrate isn’t going to be transferring any heat to the heatsink, there’s no need to smear thermal paste all over it, just a tiny dab on? the CPU die in the center is enough. Even if the paste has high electrical resistance, it might still conduct enough of a charge to damage the surrounding ICs.
hey can u do a video of the screen plugin at the bottom of the laptop inspiron e1505, can u show me how? to plug it back in
Thank you for posting this video; it? helped me replace my fan and get my laptop functional again.

Had to replace the fan in my E1505, it has been a while since I worked on any laptops, this video helped me out tremendously. On top of it all, the sound track was decent to listen too. Thanks for the video….hi-5 ? o/
Going to be replacing a core solo with a t7200 dual core in a e1505 given to me. This guide was quite helpful in what to expect and how to disassemble. Thanks? for producing a quality video for us DIYers.
I also have this notebook and I’d like to replace the fan. Where do I look for a? replacement fan?
It is called thermal paste and does not have the same properties as glue. Thermal paste is used to transfer heat in the most efficient manner possible. As long as you do not remove the heat sink ( the metal object I remove at 2:45 ) you do not necessarily need to replace the thermal paste. I do replace the thermal paste because it helps improve the? cooling capacity of the laptop. When ever I am replacing a fan in a laptop I replace the thermal paste.
I was wondering what is the glue type stuff your putting on that one part and why are you? doing that do you hae to just to change the fan?
get back asap
